L-Block is a characterful Shiraz from Domaine Terlato & Chapoutier, sourced from the cool, elevated Pyrenees region of Victoria in Australia. The vines grow on clay and gravel rich soils that bring depth, spice and firm structure to the wine. The bouquet offers sweet red cherry and dark berries wrapped in black liquorice, dark chocolate and freshly cracked black pepper. On the palate the wine is dense and powerful yet surprisingly elegant, with ripe, mouth coating tannins and juicy, focused fruit. Fresh acidity and subtle mineral notes give tension and length to the generous body. L-Block is a complex, full flavoured Shiraz that pairs beautifully with grilled beef, lamb, hearty stews and robust barbecue dishes.

Ageing in French oak supports the dark fruit and brings spicy depth as well as a velvety mouthfeel.
