This Barbados rum combines Caribbean maturation with Planteray’s signature double ageing in France. Distilled from molasses, it blends pot still and column still rums from the West Indies Rum Distillery. After ageing in bourbon casks, it gains extra roundness in Ferrand casks. The nose offers tropical fruit, vanilla, caramel, baking spice and gentle roasted notes. On the palate it is smooth, balanced and lightly spicy, with hints of baked orchard fruit, resin and chocolate. Enjoy it neat, over ice or in quality cocktails such as a Jungle Bird.
