Poças 30 Years Old Tawny is a richly matured tawny that delivers remarkable aromatic complexity. The bouquet reveals walnuts, dried figs, hints of sour orange, caramel and fine liqueur-like notes. On the palate it is smooth, layered and intensely flavoured, showing hazelnut, dried fruit, honey and well-integrated oak. The characteristic acidity of aged tawnies provides lift and keeps the wine from feeling heavy. The finish is very long, lingering on nuts, toffee and caramelised fruit.
