Poças Colheita is a single-harvest tawny Port that spends many years maturing in seasoned oak casks. During this time the youthful fruit develops into an elegant combination of dried-fruit and nutty aromas. The bouquet offers dried apricot, orange peel, fig and raisin, alongside walnut, caramel and polished wood. On the palate it is rich, velvety and beautifully balanced, with persistent sweetness, fine spice and a long, warming finish. Served slightly chilled, Poças Colheita is a natural partner for roasted nuts, almond desserts and crème brûlée, or simply to enjoy slowly at the end of the day.
