Bourgogne Chardonnay from Domaine Jacques Prieur is a refined introduction to the estate’s white wines. The fruit comes from parcels around Meursault, where limestone‑rich, slightly gravelly soils provide freshness and fine minerality. The bouquet offers citrus, green apple and yellow stone fruit, joined by white‑flower aromas, a hint of vanilla and discreet toasted notes. On the palate this Chardonnay is rounded and juicy with creamy texture, good depth and lively acidity. Ageing in oak barrels is moderate, adding structure and length without masking the pure fruit. A versatile Burgundy white to serve with grilled fish, seafood, poultry or lightly creamy vegetable dishes.
