Strablegg-Leitner Sauvignon Blanc Kaiseregg – An experience for true connoisseurs
Strablegg-Leitner Sauvignon Blanc Ried Kaiseregg comes from one of the prime sites of southern Styria at a slightly higher, cooler elevation. Vines rooted in poor gravel and limestone soils give the wine tension, minerality and a very pure structure. The bouquet is intensely varietal with elderflower, gooseberry, ripe citrus and subtle exotic notes. On the palate it is lively and playful yet packed with drive, showing fine fruit creaminess and precise acidity. Maturation partly in large oak casks and partly in stainless steel adds elegant depth without weight. The long, crystal-clear finish makes this Sauvignon a perfect partner for delicate fish dishes, goat’s cheese and aromatic vegetable cuisine.
