Weißburgunder Altenberg comes from a prime hillside site near Göttlesbrunn and highlights the elegant face of Carnuntum. The bouquet reveals subtle aromas of yellow apple, ripe pear and quince, joined by hints of roasted nuts and delicate spice. On the palate the wine is creamy and concentrated yet remains fresh, supported by well‑balanced acidity. Discreet oak notes add complexity while keeping the varietal character clearly in focus. The limestone soils lend a fine mineral grip that carries through to the long, dry finish. This is a characterful food wine that pairs wonderfully with poultry, creamy pasta dishes, veal or mild cheeses.

The large wooden cask gives the Pinot Blanc quiet power, creamy texture and a subtle oak note.
