Cagiòlo Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva from Cantina Tollo is a powerful red wine from the hills of Abruzzo. In the glass it appears deep ruby with purple highlights. The nose opens with ripe red fruit, black cherry and blackberry, followed by hints of cocoa, vanilla, liquorice and cinnamon. On the palate the wine is full bodied and velvety, with sweet toned ripe tannins and a long, persistent finish.
