Colle Cavalieri Pecorino Terre di Chieti IGP from Cantina Tollo is a characterful white made from 100 % Pecorino grapes. In the glass it shines straw yellow with greenish glints. On the nose there are aromas of exotic fruit, citrus, white flowers, acacia and a hint of jasmine. On the palate the wine is medium bodied with good structure, juicy freshness and a finely spicy, almond tinged finish. The mix of saline edge, herbal notes and ripe fruit makes it an ideal companion for fish, seafood and fresh cheeses. An elegant Pecorino from Abruzzo that complements Mediterranean cuisine with ease.
Stainless steel ageing on fine lees preserves zesty citrus freshness while adding structure and balance to the Pecorino.
