Tournon Lady’s Lane Vineyard Shiraz from Heathcote in Victoria is a single vineyard wine crafted by M. Chapoutier. The iron rich soils of the site produce a deeply coloured, intense expression of Shiraz. On the nose there are layers of currant, red and black berries, joined by hints of leather, liquorice, tobacco, black pepper, toffee and exotic spice. On the palate the wine is powerful yet poised, with concentrated fruit, savoury depth, fresh acidity and very fine tannins. Ripe fruit, peppery spice and a firm mineral backbone flow into a long, complex finish that clearly reflects the Heathcote terroir. An expressive Shiraz for special occasions, ideal with beef, lamb, game or richly flavoured grilled dishes.

Ageing in French oak gives the wine structure, fullness and a finely spiced character.
