Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC from Weingut Wieninger is one of the most typical wines of Vienna and is sourced from parcels on the Bisamberg and Nussberg hills. In the vineyard around a dozen white grape varieties are planted together, harvested at the same time and co-fermented. On the nose the wine offers green apple, pear and citrus notes alongside white blossom and a hint of herbal spice. On the palate it is aromatic, layered and fresh, with juicy fruit, crisp acidity and a medium body. The mix of varieties brings together fruit, spice and fine minerality, creating plenty of tension and drinkability. A classic Viennese food wine that pairs beautifully with starters, fish, white meats or vegetarian dishes.
