Antech

In the high vineyards of Limoux in southern France, Antech represents a family tradition dating to 1860 and sparkling wines shaped by place. At around 400 metres, cool Pyrenean air meets Mediterranean light, while clay-limestone slopes and marked day-to-night shifts bring tension to the terroir. Across seven generations, women have played a defining role in the house, which continues to champion native Mauzac within the AOP Blanquette de Limoux.

Grapes are harvested by hand, pressed slowly and gently, then vinified separately at low temperature. Mauzac is joined by Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir for Crémant de Limoux and other cuvées. After a winter on the lees come exacting blending, secondary fermentation in bottle and extended lees ageing in bottle. The family has farmed organically since 2020, while low or zero dosage and minimal intervention preserve a lucid style in which altitude, heritage and contemporary precision remain closely aligned.
