Domaine Belleville Rully blanc 1c. Le Chapitre 2022 0,75l

Belleville Rully blanc 1er Cru Le Chapitre originates from a Premier Cru parcel whose name recalls the historic chapter of the canons of Chalon. The vines, around forty years old, yield Chardonnay grapes with great aromatic intensity. In the glass the wine shows a bright golden colour with green highlights. The bouquet is dominated by ripe and gently stewed white fruits, citrus, a hint of pineapple and notes of toasted bread and fine vanilla. On the palate Le Chapitre is silky, dense and at the same time very fresh, with a creamy texture, well‑judged oak and a long, saline finish. The balance between richness and tension makes it an excellent food wine. It pairs beautifully with pan‑fried fish, seafood, poultry with light sauces or vegetable and shellfish risottos.

12 months of barrique ageing with 25% new oak gives the Chardonnay fullness, toasted notes, and a saline finish.

Domaine Belleville

In Bourgogne (Burgundy), in the village of Rully, Domaine Belleville has been shaping its identity since the early 20th century. The estate’s vineyards stretch from the Côte Chalonnaise into select corners of the Côte d’Or, and the guiding idea is simple: let each plot stand on its own....

The grape variety: Chardonnay

Chardonnay is a globally renowned white grape from Burgundy, capable of crisp, mineral, creamy or oak-aged styles. Its flavours range from citrus and apple to peach, butter, nuts and toast.

It pairs with seafood, chicken, creamy pasta, mushrooms, lobster and soft cheeses. Chardonnay is exciting because it can be beautifully simple or profoundly complex. Chardonnay
