Bodegas Quitapenas Dorado Moscatel Malaga 0,75l

This sweet liqueur wine from D.O. Málaga is made entirely from Moscatel de Alejandría grown in the Axarquía. The late, hand-picked grapes spend ten to fifteen days drying in the sun, concentrating both sugar and aroma. No barrel ageing is used, allowing the grape’s vivid character to remain in full focus. The nose is intense, with raisined Muscat, honey, tea, dried herbs, mango, dates and caramelised fruit. Rich and dense on the palate, it also retains freshness, mineral lift and well-balanced acidity. Its sweetness works at the beginning of a meal as well as with dessert. Pair it with mature cheese, foie gras, pastries, French toast or a fresh fruit salad.

The wine is made without barrel ageing.

A welcoming stop for travellers became one of the city’s historic wine names, now managed by the fifth generation....
