Chardonnay vines grow on limestone-rich, stony slopes around Beaune, giving the wine tension and finesse. The bouquet combines white flowers, citrus, pear and a hint of mandarin with notes of light brioche and chalk. On the palate it is both dense and taut, showing juicy, citrus-driven fruit, a fine creamy texture and lively acidity. Chalky minerality runs from the mid-palate into a long, saline finish.
