Coniale is Castellare di Castellina’s pure Cabernet Sauvignon from Tuscany, sourced from a selected single vineyard close to the estate. After fermentation it matures in barriques, gaining depth, richness and notable ageing potential. In the glass it shows a deep ruby colour; the nose offers cassis, cherry and dark berries alongside graphite, cedar, fine oak and spice. On the palate Coniale is concentrated and powerful yet kept in balance by fresh acidity. Silky but assertive tannins lead into a long, structured finish. It is a characterful Cabernet for lovers of full-bodied reds and pairs perfectly with steak, roasted meats, game and mature cheeses.
