M.Chapoutier R.I.Côtes de Roussillon Villages Lesquerde rouge 2015 0,75l
M. Chapoutier R.I. Côtes du Roussillon Villages Lesquerde is a high-end grenache-syrah blend from granite terraces around the village of Lesquerde. Biodynamically grown vines on very stony soils produce concentrated yet vibrant fruit. The nose is complex, with blackberry, dark cherry and plum layered over dried herbs, grilled meat, leather and roasted black pepper. On the palate R.I. is full-bodied, with fine tannins, a creamy texture and a pronounced stony minerality at the core. The long, peppery finish underscores its depth and elegance. A cellar-worthy Roussillon red to pair with braised lamb, game, steak and flavourful, spice-driven dishes.

M.Chapoutier
In Northern Rhône, the Maison M. Chapoutier has shaped the Côtes du Rhône Nord since 1808—then rewrote its modern chapter in 1990 when Michel Chapoutier took the helm. Biodynamic farming, living soils and meticulous parcel work define their steep slopes from Hermitage to Saint‑Joseph and Cornas, on granite, rolled stones and clay‑limestone seams....
The Great Vertical Tasting: A wine through the mirror of time.
Anyone who compares wine across several vintages discovers its development in a particularly impressive way. A vertical tasting reveals how style, maturity, structure and aromas change over time – and helps to find the right vintage for personal taste or a special occasion.
The grape variety: Syrah / Shiraz
Syrah, also called Shiraz, is a dark-skinned red grape known for blackberry, plum, pepper, smoke, spice and firm structure. It ranges from elegant Rhône styles to rich Australian Shiraz.
It pairs with lamb, beef, venison, barbecue, sausages, mushrooms, olives and hard cheese. A bold, savoury red for lovers of depth and spice.
