Ch.Tour de Pez Saint Estèphe: The Essence of True Craftsmanship
Château Tour de Pez is a Cru Bourgeois estate in the hamlet of Pez at the heart of the Saint-Estèphe appellation. Vines rooted in gravel and clay on the left bank are planted mainly with cabernet sauvignon and merlot, plus cabernet franc and petit verdot. The bouquet reveals blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry with notes of tobacco, dried herbs, cedar and subtle toast. On the palate the wine is firm and well structured yet approachable, with ripe tannins and fresh acidity. A gently smoky, spicy finish highlights its classic Saint-Estèphe style and makes it a fine partner for beef, lamb, hearty stews and generous barbecues.
