Barolo Ginestra Vigna Sorì Ginestra is sourced from a particularly warm, steep amphitheatre-shaped parcel in the heart of the Ginestra cru. Old nebbiolo vines with naturally small berries produce very concentrated juice. After meticulous hand harvesting, extended maceration and ageing mainly in barriques build density and complexity. The bouquet is layered, with herbs, wildflowers and dried grasses joined by black cherry, tea and tobacco. On the palate Sorì Ginestra is powerful and deep yet remarkably harmonious, showing dense fruit, polished tannins and vibrant acidity. Its very long, spicy and mineral finish marks it out as a great Barolo for rich meat dishes, game, truffle-based cuisine and celebratory meals.
