Domaine de Cavalier Val de Montferrand Blanc is an organically grown white from the Languedoc, produced from vines rooted in stony limestone and clay. The blend, dominated by sauvignon, is fermented at cool temperatures to capture bright fruit and crisp freshness. The nose shows zesty grapefruit and lime, subtle herbal tones and a hint of exotic fruit. On the palate it is lively, juicy and persistent, with crunchy acidity and a light, easy-going body. A touch of minerality and its clean, uncomplicated style make it a perfect everyday and terrace wine. Serve it well chilled with salads, seafood, light pasta dishes, vegetarian plates or simply as a refreshing aperitif.
