Dourthe N°1 Bordeaux Rouge is the flagship modern cuvée of Dourthe, blending mostly Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon. It pours a deep ruby colour and offers a charming bouquet of red and black berries with a touch of toast and spice. On the palate, the wine starts out smooth and supple, then builds in intensity to reveal juicy fruit, freshness and subtle peppery notes. Rounded, silky tannins provide structure without hardness, leading to a long, fruity finish with well-integrated oak.
