The bouquet reveals blackcurrant, dark berries and cherry with floral notes, liquorice, smoke and tobacco. On the palate Château Charmail is juicy and medium- to full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins, balanced acidity and a long, spicy, fruit-driven finish – a reliable and keenly priced Haut-Médoc from the Left Bank. | |
