| Gusbourne Brut Reserve Late Disgorged is the long‑aged counterpart to the estate’s classic Brut Reserve. A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier spends many additional years on lees before being disgorged, building layers of complexity. The nose shows citrus peel, green apple and stone fruits over notes of brioche, biscuit and delicate spice. On the palate it is creamy and expansive yet lively, with flavours of lemon posset, white peach, pear and buttered toast. The mature, racy acidity and very fine bubbles lead into an extended, savoury and mineral finish. A gastronomic English sparkling wine to enjoy with oysters, scallops or aged cheeses. | |
