The bouquet is inviting and intense, showing elderflower, white peach, muscat grapes and citrus notes. On the palate the wine is dry, juicy and slender, offering flavours of crisp pome fruit and a subtle grapey character on the finish. Fresh, well-integrated acidity provides lift and makes this Muskateller highly drinkable. Despite its lightness it shows good structure and a surprisingly persistent aftertaste. An excellent choice as an aperitif or with light starters, fish dishes and fragrant Asian cuisine. | |
