Strablegg-Leitner Welschriesling DAC captures the refreshing, easy-drinking face of southern Styria. Grapes from cooler hillside vineyards are fermented in stainless steel to keep the focus on fruit and purity. The bouquet offers aromas of green and yellow apple, citrus and delicate meadow herbs. On the palate the wine is elegant, finely structured and dry, with the typical Styrian apple-driven fruit. Lively acidity provides plenty of vibrancy without becoming sharp. The straight, cleansing finish makes this Welschriesling an ideal everyday companion for salads, cold platters, light fish dishes or simply as a chilled glass of refreshment.
Stainless steel tank ageing preserves clear, fresh Welschriesling fruit and a straight-lined structure.
