On the palate the wine is dense, silky and concentrated, carried by fine acidity and a cool, chalky minerality. Extended barrel ageing adds depth, texture and a complex interplay of fruit, spice and subtle wood tones. Despite all its richness the Morillon remains precise and elegant.
