Sauvignon Blanc Beerenauslese from Ewald Zweytick is one of the estate’s most prestigious sweet wines from southern Styria. The bouquet is intense and complex, showing candied tangerine, dried apricot and ripe peach, backed by elderflower, honey and fine botrytis spice. On the palate the wine is rich, creamy and highly concentrated, with lush sweetness perfectly balanced by vibrant, crystal-clear acidity. The interplay of fruit, spice and freshness is filigree rather than heavy. A very long, flavour-packed finish with notes of dried fruit and citrus zest lingers on. A superb match for exotic fruit desserts, crème brûlée, blue cheeses or simply sipped on its own at the end of an evening.
