Faiveley Nuits Saint Georges Les Montroziers 2021 0,75l

Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Montroziers from Domaine Faiveley comes from a site named after members of the Faiveley family and is prized for its refined, seductive style. The bouquet reveals dark berries, cherry and subtle notes of oak and spice. On the palate this Pinot Noir is rounded and smooth, with a generous core of fruit, velvety tannins and excellent balance. Barrel ageing adds gentle roasted nuances without masking the wine’s freshness. The texture remains silky, while fruit, spice and a touch of minerality flow into a long, charming finish. A very approachable Nuits-Saint-Georges that pairs beautifully with lamb chops, duck breast, pasta with ragù or savoury vegetable dishes.

Fourteen months in French oak with a moderate proportion of new oak brings fine spice, roundness and a silky tannin structure.

The grape variety: Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a refined red grape known for red cherry, raspberry, floral notes, spice and silky tannins. It is most famous in Burgundy but thrives in many cool-climate regions.

It pairs beautifully with duck, roast chicken, mushrooms, salmon, pork and game birds. Its fascination lies in finesse, fragrance and the way it expresses origin. Pinot Noir
