In its youth it can appear restrained, showing smoky, reductive notes before opening up to white stone fruit, citrus, herbs and wet stone. On the palate the wine is dense, taut and extremely precise, with cool-fruited character, racy acidity and profound, stony minerality. The structure is finely woven and charged with tension.
