Fratelli Revello Barolo docg. 1999 0,75l

Fratelli Revello’s Barolo DOCG is made from Nebbiolo vineyards around La Morra and combines classical structure with an inviting, fruit‑driven style. The bouquet reveals red cherry, rosehip and dried flowers together with hints of tar, herbs and liquorice. On the palate the wine is firm yet supple, with lively acidity and ripe, well‑defined tannins. Flavours of fresh cherry, red berries and savoury oak add complexity. The long, dry finish shows floral and mineral nuances. A textbook Barolo to enjoy with brasato, slow‑braised meats, game or dishes featuring truffle.

Twenty-four months in French barriques gives this Barolo maturity, depth and a classic oak frame.

In the 1990s, Lorenzo and Carlo Revello took the reins and pushed a sharper, site-driven vision....

The grape variety: Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo produces pale but powerful red wines with cherry, rose, spice, high acidity and firm tannins.

It is especially famous in Barolo and Barbaresco and pairs beautifully with braised meat, truffle dishes, mushrooms, game and aged cheese. Nebbiolo
