Glenfarclas 12 Year Old is a classic Speyside single malt matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. The nose reveals sweet sherry, fresh pears, dried fruits, malty richness and a touch of toffee and coffee. On the palate it is medium‑bodied, smooth and creamy, showing honeyed malt, dates, vanilla and gentle spice. A faint whiff of smoke and polished oak adds extra depth. The finish is nutty, warming and softly sweet with lingering sherry notes. This is an all‑rounder that works neat, with a splash of water or as a welcoming introduction to the distillery’s style.
