Goyard Ratafia de Champagne 3 ans d’âge is a traditional fortified wine from Champagne made by blending fresh grape must with Marc de Champagne and local wine spirits. After three years of ageing in oak casks it shows a bright amber colour in the glass. The bouquet reveals candied orange peel, vanilla, raisins and hints of dried apricot. On the palate it is smooth, sweet and gently spicy, with notes of candied fruit, quince jelly and subtle oak. Served chilled, it makes a refined aperitif and pairs beautifully with foie gras, pâtés or nutty desserts. A classic, authentic expression of Ratafia champenois.
