Sankt Laurent Classic from Weingut Grassl is the most Burgundy‑like red in the Carnuntum portfolio. The grapes come from mature vines rooted in stony, limestone‑rich sites around Göttlesbrunn, which allow this demanding variety to ripen slowly and fully. The bouquet offers spicy notes of wild cherry, elderberry, almonds and subtle herbs. On the palate the wine is juicy and elegant with cool, precise red fruit, silky tannins and a finely woven structure. Lively acidity and a gently mineral finish make it a versatile partner for poultry, veal or dishes with mushrooms and roasted vegetables.
