The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a portion of Sangiovese comes from breezy slopes between Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri. The bouquet combines fresh red and dark fruits with notes of prunes, chocolate, tobacco and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate the wine delivers opulent dark‑fruit concentration, a silky mouthfeel and hints of clove and sweet spice, framed by fine, tightly knit tannins.
