Hugel Vendange Tardive Gewürztraminer 2018 0,375l

Gewurztraminer Vendange Tardive from Famille Hugel is a late harvest wine made from overripe, partially botrytised grapes. The nose is seductive and highly aromatic, with lychee, mango, passion fruit, rose, jasmine and a touch of sweet spice. On the palate the wine is lush and generous, showing ripe fruit sweetness balanced by fresh acidity. Despite its richness it remains graceful and never heavy. The finish is long, echoing exotic fruit, honey and delicate floral notes. This wine pairs beautifully with foie gras, spicy Asian dishes, blue cheeses or fruit based desserts. It captures a clear sense of origin while remaining graceful and deeply expressive.

Gewurztraminer is a highly aromatic white grape known for rose, lychee, tropical fruit, ginger and spice. It is usually rich, textured and medium to full-bodied, with moderate acidity.

It pairs especially well with spicy Asian dishes, roast pork, duck, pâté, washed-rind cheese, blue cheese and fruit-based desserts. Gewurztraminer
