Huguenot Marsannay rouge Montagne 2023 0,75l

The En La Montagne parcel in Marsannay gives this Pinot Noir its generous, approachable personality. Vines of different ages grow over white oolitic limestone, a distinctive feature of the site. Hand-harvested grapes are matured in oak barrels, followed by time in stainless steel. With a little air, black cherry and blackberry aromas gradually unfold. The palate is rounded, full and expressive, with ripe fruit at its centre. Smooth texture and a lack of harsh edges make its generous finish particularly appealing. Roast beef, good charcuterie, freshwater fish or mature cheese provide delicious ways to enjoy this Côte de Nuits red.

The purchase of a plot in Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru in 1967 marked a defining chapter. Now guided by Valérie and Philippe Huguenot, the estate views each climat as an individual expression of its Burgundian origins....
