Jermann Pinot Grigio Friuli doc. 2023 0,75l

Pinot Grigio Friuli DOC from Jermann is an elegant white that balances finesse with easy drinkability. In the glass it shows bright straw colour with subtle reflections. The bouquet is delicate yet layered, offering green pear, fresh apple skin, white melon, citrus and a hint of lemon balm. On the palate the Pinot Grigio is clean, dry and lively, with juicy fruit, vibrant acidity and cool, stony minerality. The texture is silky and balanced rather than opulent. The finish is precise, citrus driven and persistent. A stylish Pinot Grigio to serve with fish, seafood, antipasti and lighter pasta dishes.

Four months on the fine lees in stainless steel keep the fruit clear and give the Pinot Grigio a fresh, clean outline.

Jermann

On the border where Veneto meets Friuli, Jermann has carried a family thread since 1881, when Anton Jermann settled in Villanova di Farra. What was once mixed farming turned, under Silvio Jermann in the 1970s, into a winery that helped redefine Northern Italy’s modern white wines. Collio hills and the Isonzo plain offer a palette of marl, sandstone and gravel, ideal for site-driven precision....

The grape variety: Pinot Gris

Grauburgunder, Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio are names for the same versatile Pinot grape. Typical aromas include pear, apple, citrus, melon, nuts and gentle spice.

It pairs with fish, seafood, poultry, asparagus, mushrooms, creamy pasta and mild cheeses, ranging from crisp aperitif styles to richer food wines. Pinot Gris
