Josef Tesch Blaufränkisch DAC 2023 0,75l
Blaufrankisch Mittelburgenland DAC by Josef Tesch captures the cool energy of the Neckenmarkt hills and the depth of their loamy soils. The nose opens with dark cherry, blackberry and sour cherry, wrapped in herbal spice, hints of violet and a touch of graphite. On the palate the wine is juicy, precise and medium in weight, with firm yet ripe tannins and lively acidity. The texture is focused and linear, while a subtle salty minerality adds drive and length. The finish is fruit led, spicy and slightly smoky, inviting the next sip. Serve slightly chilled to underline its vibrant character at the table.
Stainless steel ageing keeps the Blaufränkisch clear, fresh and precise, with a mineral imprint.
