| Riesling Ried Loibenberg Smaragd from Weingut Knoll is grown on steep stone terraces in one of the Wachau s most celebrated sites. The bouquet offers candied citrus peel, yellow peach, hints of mango and pineapple, herbal notes and blossom honey. On the palate the Smaragd is juicy, dense and complex, with a tightly woven texture and precise acidity. Stony hillside minerality brings cool depth and salty tension. Ripe stone fruit and citrus brightness create a long, arching finish. The aftertaste is persistent, mineral and finely spicy. A profound Riesling for expressive fish dishes, refined Asian flavours and mature hard cheese. | |
