Riesling Vinothekfüllung Smaragd from Knoll is a strictly selected rarity sourced from the estate’s finest sites in the Wachau. Old vines, late harvesting and maturation in large wooden casks provide remarkable depth and complexity. The bouquet shows candied citrus, mango and ripe peach, supported by hints of honey and smoky minerality. On the palate the wine is silky, multi-layered and very powerful, carried by firm, perfectly integrated acidity. Despite its concentration it stays focused and cool in style. A very long, mineral finish turns this Vinothekfüllung into a treasure for patient collectors and a noble partner for refined fish or vegetable dishes.
