Zweigelt Leithakalk from Kollwentz grows on limestone soils at the Leithagebirge, which lend the wine freshness and finesse. The variety combines juicy fruit with gentle tannins and is matured in large wooden casks. On the nose, cherry, sour cherry, a hint of eucalyptus and spicy notes appear. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh and mineral, offering plenty of drinking pleasure. The structure remains clear and precise without heaviness. An ideal companion for grilled dishes, pork, lamb or classic Austrian comfort food.

Nine months in small and large oak barrels round out the sour-cherry fruit and add fine spice to this Zweigelt.
