The gnarled vines produce naturally low yields and highly concentrated fruit. Intensely aromatic notes of elderflower, gooseberry, citrus and exotic fruit rise from the glass. On the palate the wine is powerful and spicy, yet cool and linear, driven by vibrant acidity. The signature flint minerality adds subtle smokiness and impressive length. Partial ageing in wood and extended lees contact lend extra depth and creaminess. This Sauvignon is ideal with Asian-inspired dishes, aromatic fish or refined vegetable and herb cuisine. | |
