Mantlerhof Grüner Veltliner Moosburgerin comes from a renowned single vineyard near Gedersdorf that is classified as an Erste Lage site in the Kremstal. Old vines rooted in loess and limestone deliver grapes with remarkable concentration and spice. The nose offers ripe yellow apple, hints of tobacco leaf, dried herbs and delicate citrus notes. On the palate the wine is opulent yet firmly structured, with a creamy, juicy mid palate and a fine, lively line of acidity. Salty minerality shapes the long, harmonious finish and underlines its origin. A powerful food wine that pairs well with fried chicken, veal dishes or aromatic vegetable cuisine.
