Apres Grappa di Moscato from Marolo combines the vibrant aromatics of the Moscato grape with the depth of extended cask ageing. Carefully selected pomace is gently distilled and matured in small oak barrels that previously held fine wines. The result is a layered bouquet of white flowers, citrus, ripe grapes and dried fruit, rounded by vanilla and a hint of almond. On the palate the grappa is soft, rounded and yet lively, with well-integrated alcohol and delicate spice. A subtle sweetness carries the long, aromatic finish without ever becoming cloying. A fragrant after-dinner drink that pairs beautifully with Cantuccini, citrus desserts or simply as a relaxed evening sipper.
