Marolo Umberto Vermouth Rosso Superiore 0,75l

Umberto Vermouth Rosso Superiore is based on a historic Domenico Ulrich recipe from the nineteenth century, revived and refined by Distilleria Marolo. Wines from Piedmont are infused with a carefully balanced blend of botanicals, where the distinct bitter tones of cinchona bark and hyssop play a leading role. After maceration the extracts spend several months in wooden casks, gaining balsamic depth and a rounded, full-bodied texture. The nose offers notes of orange peel, aromatic herbs, spice and a gentle sweetness. On the palate the vermouth is rich and vibrant yet beautifully harmonious, with a long, pleasantly bitter finish. Served neat over ice with a twist of orange it becomes a true meditation drink and is also an excellent base for classics such as Negroni or Manhattan.
