Biserno from Tenuta di Biserno is a powerful blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot from the coastal hills around Bibbona. The vineyards lie on calcareous and clay rich soils close to the sea, lending the wine density, freshness and spice. On the nose it offers blackberries, blackcurrant and dark cherries intertwined with notes of forest floor, roasted coffee, liquorice and fine oak. On the palate Biserno is full bodied, juicy and firmly structured, with dense yet polished tannins and vibrant acidity. A subtle salty edge and a touch of mint add lift and precision. The long, refined finish makes Biserno a benchmark Super Tuscan to enjoy with red meats, lamb, game and mature cheeses.

Fifteen months in French oak give this Bordeaux blend structure, depth and elegant oak influence.
