Siepi by Mazzei is a powerful yet refined blend of Sangiovese and Merlot from the rolling Tuscan hills. The bouquet is intense, offering layers of elderberry, plum, dark berries, sandalwood and a touch of tobacco from aging in French oak. On the palate the wine is concentrated and silky, with generous fruit wrapped in polished tannins. Fresh acidity keeps the ample body in perfect balance and lends energy to the long finish. Notes of spice, cedar and cocoa add complexity as the wine opens in the glass. A characterful red that pairs beautifully with braised beef, lamb, game dishes or mature cheeses and has excellent potential to age.

Extended ageing in large oak casks highlights the spicy Nebbiolo structure and gives the mature Margheria classic depth.
