M.Chapoutier Crozes Hermitage Les Meysonniers ROUGE 2024 0,75l

M. Chapoutier Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers Rouge is crafted from organically farmed syrah vines rooted in clay, limestone and pebble soils on mainly south-facing slopes. Fermentation and ageing in concrete tanks help preserve the purity of fruit and the supple tannin profile. The bouquet offers blackcurrant, raspberry and plum alongside violets, pepper, licorice and a gentle smoky hint. On the palate the wine is juicy, rounded and medium-bodied, with fleshy yet silky tannins and refreshing acidity. A harmonious, subtly spicy finish makes Les Meysonniers a versatile match for grilled meats, stews, Mediterranean dishes and hearty pasta.

Ageing in concrete and barrels preserves freshness and gives the wine structure and fine complexity.

M.Chapoutier

In Northern Rhône, the Maison M. Chapoutier has shaped the Côtes du Rhône Nord since 1808—then rewrote its modern chapter in 1990 when Michel Chapoutier took the helm. Biodynamic farming, living soils and meticulous parcel work define their steep slopes from Hermitage to Saint‑Joseph and Cornas, on granite, rolled stones and clay‑limestone seams....
