Nero d’Avola In Purezza from Baglio di Pianetto comes from high-altitude vineyards on sandy, silty soils and reveals a fresher, more elegant face of this Sicilian grape. The bouquet is vibrant, with red berries, sour cherry and pomegranate, wrapped in notes of violet, dried herbs and gentle spice. On the palate the wine is juicy and medium-bodied, with fine tannins, lively acidity and a clearly fruit-driven style. Flavours of currant, cherry and a hint of blood orange keep the finish bright and inviting. This Nero d’Avola is excellent with pasta dishes, grilled vegetables, roast poultry and many everyday Mediterranean recipes.
Extended stainless steel maturation preserves pure fruit and gives Nero dAvola clear definition without oak influence.
