Piantaferro Primitivo from Puglia captures the grape’s generous, sun‑ripened character in a warm and spicy style. The bouquet is packed with ripe plum, black cherry and blackcurrant jam, layered with hints of blackberry, cracked pepper and rosemary. On the palate the wine is full‑bodied and enveloping, with rich, sweet‑toned fruit, gentle spice and notes of toasted almond and vanilla. Soft, rounded tannins and moderate acidity keep the opulent texture in check. The finish lingers with dark berries, cocoa and savoury spice. A versatile red for roast or grilled meats, rich pasta dishes and matured cheeses.
